If you’re curious about the current and next Genshin Impact banner, you’ve come to the right place. Each character event wish banner lasts around three weeks and gives you a higher chance to receive specific five-star and four-star characters. There’s also a weapon event wish banner called Epitome Invocation that gives you the chance to roll for some extremely powerful four and five-star weapons.

There are generally four character banners per Genshin Impact update, with two running concurrently in the first phase, and two running concurrently in the second phase, so you’re rarely short on opportunities to snag your next main!

What’s the current Genshin Impact banner?
The current Genshin Impact banners feature five-stars Chasca and Lyney, along with the new four-star Ororon. They run from Wednesday, November 20, until Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
Chasca is a brand new five-star anemo bow wielder from Natlan. She has a unique kit that sees her ride around on a giant canon, shooting elemental bullets at enemies to trigger swirl reactions.
Lyney is a five-star pyro bow wielder from Fontaine. He’s a surprisingly powerful DPS who focuses on charged attacks and performs best in mono pyro teams.
Ororon is a new four-star electro bow wielder from Natlan. He has a useful rocket jump ability that’s great for vertical exploration, and is a solid support in electro-charged teams.

The current weapon banner, or Epitome Invocation, features increased drop rates on a specific set of four and five-star Genshin Impact weapons, including the featured five-star characters’ signature weapons.

What is the next Genshin Impact banner?
The Genshin Impact 5.2 phase two banners feature the two dragons Zhongli and Neuvillette, and run from Tuesday, December 10 until Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
Zhongli is a five-star geo polearm wielder. As the geo archon of Liyue, he’s an incredibly powerful character with the strongest shield in the game.
Neuvillette, on the other hand, is a five-star hydro catalyst wielder from Fontaine. He’s heralded as the best DPS in Genshin Impact, with a unique charged attack focused kit, self healing, and a ridiculously high damage ceiling.

Leaks suggest that Genshin Impact’s Mavuika and Genshin Impact’s Citlali will appear on the Genshin Impact 5.3 banners.Beyond that, we predict that Genshin Impact’s Iansan and Ororon’s friend Genshin Impact’s Ifa will come further down the line during the version 5 updates.
